日據時期，詩寫得很棒的台灣文人，被日本大官要求寫詩，他不想寫，但日本人又逼著他，迫不得已就寫了一對聯給那位日本大官掛家門口：
靠北山曉 足渡難
歸嵐爬飛 塞林涼
還解釋：
靠近北方的山，在破曉時，很難用雙腳步行渡過
回程的山嵐往上爬，飛到塞外的森林，更顯淒涼
那日本人覺得很符合他日本老家的情形，就掛在家門口了…
