根據道路交通管理處罰條例，汽機車行經行人穿越道有行人穿越時，不暫停讓行人先行通過者，處1200元至3600元罰鍰。行人未依規定行走行人穿越道及「行人未依標誌、標線、號誌指示或手勢指揮穿越道路」也會處以300元罰鍰。
