衛生福利部依據「嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎防治及紓困振興特別條例」第二條規定，於4月14日修正公告「執行嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎醫療照護及防治發給補助津貼及獎勵要點」，擴大津貼及獎勵對象，並於4月24日公布申請作業須知。也會有針對急診醫護人員及基層院所的獎勵方案，使投入防疫之醫療機構與人員獲得應有之鼓勵。
