一般大賣場與超商的台灣製口罩品質是沒有問題的，也不會低於五元。
芬蘭國土報（Suomenmaa）於6月30日報導，芬蘭國會友台小組主席凱爾納（MikkoKärnä）表示，台灣日前捐給芬蘭的口罩，在芬蘭科技研究中心（VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland）檢驗下，證實品質頂級，過濾率達99.7%。也需要注意是否為中國不肖廠商假冒台灣的 MIT 口罩外銷。美國疾病管制暨預防中心（CDC）旗下的一間研究中心（NIOSH）透過檢驗，發現一家被 FDA 撤銷許可的中國廠商，製造出的口罩僅能過濾 24% 至 35% 微粒，遠低於 N95 口罩須阻擋 95% 微粒的標準。
