1994 年李登輝任命擔任經濟部國際經濟組織首席法律顧問的蔡英文起草《香港澳門關係條例》，蔡對香港關係早有研究，並非如文中所說現在「突然撿到槍」支持香港民眾反送中。且並無直接證據顯示運動交流對政經局勢有偌大影響，本社論並非新聞，為筆者個人猜測，建議多看看不同意見自行判斷。
