這波寒流乾冷，故只有在30日冷鋒快速通過時，北部、東北部有局部雨，花東有局部短暫雨的機率；30日晚北台灣漸轉乾、雨漸停。北台灣率先降至此波寒流的最低氣溫，北部平地約5度左右、台北都會區約7、8度；其他地區則在跨年夜至元旦晨降至最低，嘉義以北平地最低氣溫亦可降至5度左右，全台除恆春半島外，幾乎都降至10度以下。
