指揮中心表示，於中央流行疫情中心成立期間來自醫院之通報，皆為符合通報定義之個案，醫院亦會因進行各項作為而於就醫動線管制、發燒分流檢傷、要求戴口罩減少飛沫傳播等措施，進行防治之必要因應工作，亦為可能有發燒病患來就醫的感染管制程序，非收治疑似或確診病例後才有之特殊措施，請民眾毋須恐慌、私自臆測，亦勿擅自散布訊息，以免違反相關規定甚至構成刑事責任。
