中央流行疫情指揮中心今天上午表示，為因應新冠肺炎(COVID-19)疫情，預計下午2時由指揮官陳時中說明疫情及防疫作為等事宜。

根據 2021/1/12 中央流行疫情指揮中心記者會，確實有北部照顧 COVID-19 患者的醫師（案838）確診，接觸者中也有護理師（案839）確診。記者會上也公布案 838 之部分足跡，案 839 的足跡也已經由地方衛生局通知消毒。

IKEA 桃園店、大江購物中心與台茂購物中心也在 2021/1/12 共同進行消毒作業。
