中共以各種方式介入民主國家的選舉，已是國際社會普遍認知公認的事實；中共慣常在台灣選舉前藉機製造事端，過去更以對台軍事演習，及嚴詞批判企圖干擾或影響選情，台灣民眾對此非常反感。在組織層面的影響，中國一直都有在經營，如招待赴中國旅行的「統戰旅遊」、介入台灣黑幫、選舉賭盤等，先前就有半島電視台的記者，踢爆有某統派團體坦承接受中國資金。他強調，中國介入台灣內政、選舉的方式，從宣傳、組織層面，都是藉由多層次、多管道、多型態的方式來操作。
