這個都市傳說除了毛克利宮殿這個渡假村是確實存在之外，其他的北卡羅萊納州，或是與原住民衝突，或是一些詭異的關閉理由、迪士尼關閉、裡頭作者的故事都是假的，creeypasta故事上來說本身都是自己加工，不然就是自己編造，當然有真實的都市傳說，但這則是假的。
