振興醫院感染科主任李明政表示，因為有傳播力的個案在社區中活動，保守起見，建議從案771確診日開始往後算兩周的觀察期，如果平安度過這兩周，到明年1月3日前都沒有出現其他確診個案，就代表台灣再次得到上天的恩賜，社區仍然安全。如果陸續又出現偶發病例，那就糟了，所以這14天內大型活動應該要盡量停辦，「你叫我去，我不會去。」

振興醫院感染科主任李明政指出，現在採檢通常是一兩天會有結果，如果本土個案是今天確診，那就要去看該名個案之前有活動的時間，往後算14天觀察期，如果沒有其他人再發病，就會比較安全，但如果陸續有人發病，就可能是社區傳播了，建議大型活動都應該要停辦，因為如果有1人染疫，就會造成群聚。
