新聞有報導，也與選舉無關。警方強調，本案為一起民事家族債務案件，糾紛與所內員警無關，亦無舉牌所指的汪姓警員，除逮捕5名帶頭人士外，聚眾現場也查獲1名由桃園地院於2023年9月23日發布的石姓詐欺通緝犯，已當場逮捕並移請桃園地院審理。
