假的，本案仍在擬議階段，外交部配合並協助土地管理機關台北市政府依法辦理意見徵詢及其他審議程序，並沒有因為美國是需求單位而不按程序進行賤價使用的問題。
有關AIT租用國有土地租金價格，外交使領館、代表處租用我國有土地做為館舍，外交部依據行政院於民國82年核定的「國有出租基地租金率調整方案」相關規定辦理，並無賤賣或賤租公有土地情事。
