台灣拿到的這批11.7萬劑AZ疫苗，根本不是我們原本應該買到的，而是韓國買了之後不要才送過來台灣的。所以當初不但來得突然、來得蹊蹺，連有效期限都只剩WHO官方公布6個月的一半3個月。

並不是韓國不要的疫苗，海外國家的AZ疫苗銷售合約，均是直接與英國阿斯利康總公司簽約。在過往的藥物及疫苗中，都有做過實驗來確立維持最佳效價的時間有多長，藥廠會在依據此數據，訂定有效期限的時間範圍。目前AZ疫苗看到的最佳保值期限是六個月，這就代表在六個月的有效範圍內的成分品質最穩定，疫苗效價是最佳的。
