不建議噴到手上或是肌膚，市面上的次氯酸水，以及所謂的次氯酸水生成機，都缺乏規範，品質堪憂。就安全性而言，用清水及肥皂洗手仍應是首選。至於次氯酸水，頂多就只能用於環境衛生的管理，而非個人衛生。
