湖北省衛健委表示，他們加入了所謂的「臨床診斷病例」，也就是接受肺部電腦斷層檢查，發現有因為病毒性肺炎而產生的「肺部浸潤」症狀的，一律例為確診病例，因此才會增加那麼多確診病例。
