多位網友在推特及臉書上表示，有人利用社團販售「台製醫用口罩」，一盒50片，售價為400元，更貼出有Made In Taiwan鋼印之口罩圖片，不過卻附上「深圳認證書」，讓人匪夷所思。先前就有許多廠商，在樂天拍賣上販售中國製的假口罩，介紹內文雷同且價格不菲，送達的商品卻是沒有經過品質把關的劣質口罩，或根本不出貨。
目前台灣「徵用口罩」及「限制口罩出口」政策已延長至六月底，該段期間不得私下販售醫療口罩，在購買前應先詳細確認，避免受騙。
