若孩童近期身體狀況不穩定者，請於身體狀況較穩定後就近前往接種。接種後請於現場休息15-30分鐘，按住注射部位，但請勿搓揉，若有不適立即向醫護人員反應。回家後持續注意身體情形，多喝水、多休息、均衡飲食，2週內避免劇烈運動。家長也請協助注意，如有持續發燒超過48小時、嚴重過敏反應如呼吸困難、氣喘、眩暈、心跳加速、全身紅疹等不適症狀，應儘速就醫釐清病因。 若有不適，亦可以請3日疫苗假（含當日）
