打疫苗後重症及死亡率比未打疫苗的還要高，是因為打疫苗的人數遠大於沒打疫苗的人。

以英國的數據來看，打疫苗的人重症率是每百萬人有3.55個重症或死亡；但沒打疫苗的人當中，則是每百萬人有91.1個重症或死亡。

也就是說，這個說法沒有把分母考慮進去。
