總統則在電視政見會結束受訪時，不疾不徐地回應于美人的質疑，表示朝野應該好好坐下來談，就具體的條文一條一條來看，「哪一條會碰到玄天上帝，哪一條會碰到媽祖，如果碰到玄天上帝跟媽祖的話，我們就好好處理這個條文嘛」！實務上這種情況是不會發生的。
