環保署5月2日表示，未來汽油車車齡達8年者，每2年需接受排氣檢驗一次，若檢驗不合格，須連續2年到檢，期間皆合格才能恢復2年1檢。因現行規定為車齡5年以上、每年檢查1次，新法規7月1日上路後，預計超過200萬輛汽油車主受惠。
