"Our Chinese beat your Chinese"
It's true. The winners of the
European Girls Mathematical 2
Olympiad were the team
from China. (Despite the
name, the competition,
recently held in Slovenia,
gets global entries.)
In second place was the
United States, whose team
were ethnic Chinese plus
one South Asian.
In third place was Australia,
whose team was entirely
ethnically Chinese. Well
done, everyone!
