事實上，國際上一樣有延後第二劑的做法。網友認為政府在騙人，很可能只是因為沒有參考過國際做法而生的個人觀感。
一、根據 WHO 於 2021 年 6 月 15 日更新的莫德納疫苗施打指引，WHO 建議，對於高危險族群的（第一劑）疫苗覆蓋率還不夠高的國家，應該透過延長兩劑間隔至 12 週的方式，來聚焦於提高疫苗覆蓋率。[見出處1]
二、以加拿大的做法為例，加拿大政府為了提高疫苗覆蓋率，把所有已核准的疫苗的兩劑間隔時間皆延長為四個月。[見出處2]
