依照疾管署歷年預防接種受害救濟業務統計資料，於前年及去年，因為接種疫苗，而受有死亡或身心障礙等不良反應症狀，申請受害救濟者，一共有8489件。然而截至去年12月8日，兩年下來，僅審議了1802件，這當中更有無數案例申請了一年還申請不到，此一仿如龜速的審查速度，實在令人不敢恭維。

（中央社記者王承中台北27日電）國民黨團批評疫苗救濟案件審議牛步化且判定太難。衛福部長薛瑞元今天表示，擬將預防接種受害審議委員會從1組分成5組，每組每月開2次會，等於1個月會開10次會，目前申請救濟的6000多件應可在2年內審查完畢。
