警政署表示為昭公信，已內部清查近日「警政資訊系統」日誌資料，並無該等員警查詢使用之紀錄，且目前社群網路媒體發達，部分民眾個人資料已可於網路蒐尋；警政署呼籲大眾勿對不明訊息任意散播或轉載，避免製造社會更多對立與衝突，將無助社會和諧之恢復。
