中央氣象局在臉書透露，2022年9月21日上午9時21分將發送地震速報測試，並舉辦地震避難動作演練，屆時全國各地皆會收到地震速報，請就地採取避難3步驟。上午9時25分亦會向沿海地區民眾發送海嘯警報測試，請接到警報的民眾無須驚慌。
