早在2016 年 10 月官方就已澄清，強調電磁波提升的主因，是因為開啟無線網路所導致，因此有關係的是手機與基地台的訊號，而非像LINE的這類手機 App。至於為何使用LINE時，手機會變得很燙，主是因為操作手機時功率增加，與手機本身設計較有關係，和電磁波並無關聯，民眾可以安心使用。
