查證確實有一位賓州大學牙醫醫生叫施松濤（Songtao Shi），他的研究提及從乳牙中分離出來的幹細胞有能力再生，可以取代抽取骨隨幹細胞的做法，且取下的乳齒經過冷凍保存可以保持20年。但是文中『即使乳齒已經脫落10年，仍然有效』顯有誤導，未經過保存處理的乳齒，僅僅是牙齒而已。
