當病毒已在體內，上述方式皆無法用來治療，且會對人體產生明顯危害。例如部分蒸氣室或烤箱雖然溫度可逾60℃以上，但人體體溫上升時的自然排汗散熱，仍會使體溫維持恆定，在維持健康的狀況下，不可能將人體加熱到56℃，因此透過高溫蒸氣室或烤箱，絕不可能清除體內病毒。
