1、大致正確，紐約時報有詳細報導，CDC的網站也有此黴菌的介紹。

2、感染專家黃立民指出，有部分報導指耳念珠菌是細菌，但其實耳念珠菌是黴菌，治療方面可用抗黴菌藥物，但目前觀察其抗藥性高達50%，比例不低，因此致死率居高不下。
