不建議使用肥皂，醫師要特別提醒大家的是，請不要隨便拿未殺菌的自來水沖洗鼻腔，如果不小心把污染的水送進鼻子裡，反而會增加感染風險。一般還是建議到藥局購買鼻腔沖洗瓶、可以自行泡製的洗鼻鹽包或沖洗用的生理食鹽水，或者是自行調配乾淨的溫鹽水。
