美國威爾明頓警方開槍射擊坐在輪椅上的Jeremy McDole並造成其死亡，是因為Jeremy McDole被人通報持有手槍並意圖自傷，警方抵達現場後Jeremy McDole沒有遵照警方的警告舉起雙手，而是把雙手放在腰間並看起來像是在找東西，警方認為Jeremy McDole非常有可能是在找手槍且可能傷人，因而開槍射殺Jeremy McDole。
