卻有其事，詳情可以見「台南市刑事警察大隊科偵隊」的宣導文章：台南市有民眾近日表示，接獲不明電話指稱中獎、扣稅後要寄送得獎現金數千或數萬元，果真不久就接到「現金袋」，簽收後才發現裡面放的是假鈔，隨後又接到電話指稱「寄錯」，要求取回，因金額不大有人自認倒楣，報警才知遭詐騙。
