桃園市接獲零星禽流感個案通報，包括大園老街溪有死亡雞隻及桃園藝文特區有鴿子死亡，市府強調，目前市內並無H5N6禽流感疫情。
疾管署副署長羅一鈞表示，家禽如果有異狀被送進合格屠宰場時，經獸醫師診斷確診生病了，將會被銷毀，不可能被販售到市面上，除非私宰，但現在政府加強查緝全面禁止私宰，更能降低風險
