人事總處強調，政府行政機關辦公日曆表僅適用於政府行政機關公務人員，至於公營事業機構人員的放假，原則上比照辦理；軍人的放假，則屬國防部主管權責，應依該部規定辦理。另各級學校適用的學年度行事曆，是由各該主管教育行政機關訂定。此外，民間企業人員的放假涉及勞動基準法相關事項，應依該法主管機關勞動部的規定辦理。
