因為像玉一樣透亮的色澤，讓越南種的白蓮霧身價跟著提高，再加上近期雨量較少，蓮霧的甜度和品質也跟著提高；雖然1斤平均單價要價120元以上，但民眾好奇嚐鮮，還是讓白蓮霧供不應求，還沒採收就馬上被訂光光。
