台中市政府針對18歲以下的兒童少年建立「無飢餓網絡」，與楓康超市、7-11、全家、OK及萊爾富等5家超商、超市合作，在全市1220個門市設置「愛心守護站」，18歲以下兒童青少年如果肚子餓又沒錢吃飯，可到超市免費吃80元熱食，領取前只要簽名即可。
