台灣事實查核中心已經證實為錯誤訊息囉～這個謠言已經流傳多年，每年1月、7月都會流傳一波。
2019年起的相關規定如下：
1、紅燈右轉: 機車和小型車罰 600元、大型車罰1400元。
2、闖紅燈: 機車罰1800元、小型車罰2700元、大型車罰3600元。

近來網路、Line瘋狂流傳，自105年8月20日起交通違規將大幅調漲，由於調幅頗大，網友互傳時罵聲不斷，均為錯誤訊息，網路謠言希望能止於智者，不要再以訛傳訛混淆視聽。
