多年前流傳的謠言，
根據記錄，泛美航空是一直到1979年，美國解除空運管制法案後，才得以經營國內航線，但原文卻說914航班是在1955年的7月2日於前往佛羅里達途中失蹤。
早在1955年時，泛美航空就有山寨版本了，而且還飛進「時空隧道」直到35年後才降落。
