「集寶」，即將於1月9日（星期二）返回行政院農業委員會特有生物研究保育中心，為復育臺灣石虎的族群而努力，未來將由「集寶」的姑姑、較年長的「小母」，代替牠在動物園內推展保育教育的角色，繼續宣導人類不當行為，讓石虎所面臨的存續危機，及應當趕緊採取的保育行動。再過兩個月即將滿五歲的「集寶」，將於1月9日（星期二）這天，由臺北市立動物園出發，返回出生長大的特有生物研究保育中心。
