健保署決議2018年起取消「維骨力」等葡萄糖胺藥品的健保給付，民眾日後得自費購買，媒體報導健保署指出，係因骨科、外科等專科醫學會評估維骨力對於緩解退化性關節炎疼痛的療效不明確。健保署不給付指示藥品是依法行政，不應該是療效的考量，不宜解讀成沒有療效的指示藥品健保不給付、有療效的指示藥品健保才給付。
