教育局表示，開明依據「私立學校法」及「長期照顧服務機構法人條例」辦理轉型，經教育局與社會局聯合審查通過，今年2月正式完成轉型，由財團法人新北市私立開明高級工業商業職業學校，更名為「開明長照財團法人」。
