近來臺東許多網路社群散佈一張警方站於巷口圖文，文中載明「於市區中正、廣東路口，機車行經地上有『讓路線』及倒三角標線時需停下，未停開罰三千六百元」文中甚至註明停車需「腳放下來」。這篇圖文近來已傳遍臺東，還有人說「有位大哥已被開三千六百元」，甚至也有議員關心，但警方澄清:「沒人在此被開單，而且罰款、法規都用錯」
