衛生局強調，疫調已匡列3人通知居家隔離。個案住家也依照衛生所人員指導消毒。新光三越台南新天地為配合防疫，2020年4月19日晚9時後全館便只出不進，20日全館則休館1天全面大消毒。市府並要求員工進行自主管理，回報是否有不適情況。另外，環保局也已派員前往個案到過的便利商店消毒。
