網傳影片中 “Weakening Germany, strengthening the U.S.” 的「爆料文件」是捏造的假文件。
美國事實查核網站 Lead Stories 整理散佈此份「文件」的網站均為陰謀論網站，發現其在疫情期間亦有散佈反疫苗陰謀論。事實查核公司 Logically 則指出，網路上所謂具名「爆料者」亦無法驗證該份「報告」的真實性；實際比照蘭德公司的報告與網傳「爆料文件」亦可發現多處文法錯誤、拼字錯誤、排版格式、署名、乃至於報告對象，皆與蘭德公司其他報告的習慣不同。
蘭德公司則是在 2022/9/14 發表新聞稿指出該報告為假。
