根據專家分析，這項研究尚未通過同儕審查，公信力尚且不足，且此研究在抽樣和方法設計上有偏誤，包括取樣上大於60歲的高齡者只佔4%，在「自然感染者」已排除「染疫死亡人口」。因此，無法根據此研究結論來認定自然感染比打疫苗好。
而且以色列的疫情跟台灣不同，不建議把結果推估到台灣，並還是建議打疫苗。

(3)美國CDC目前仍然建議感染過新冠病毒的人，仍然接種疫苗，因為目前還沒有實證資料顯示自然抗體的持久性。
(4)重要的是即使 感染後的自然抗體可能 比打疫苗產生的抗體 來的有效又持久，但這並不意味人們應該冒著染病的危險，去感染新冠病毒，來取得免疫力。
