高市交通局強調絕對沒有相關新規定，指出目前僅有瑞豐夜市、新堀江商圈、高雄火車站、三多商圈及高醫商圈，這5大人潮較多的商圈有實施「機車退出騎樓」的政策而已，其他地區都沒有相關規劃，提醒民眾收到假消息時不用驚慌，也不要隨意輕信與轉傳。
