這部影片的來源，來自這本書「The Power of Nice: How to Conquer the Business World With Kindness」的宣傳，是 2006 年的作品，而這部影片的名稱叫做「Hold The Door!」，除了我們目前看到「電梯門夾斷手」的影片之外，還有幫同事慶生被驚喜嚇死的的影片，主要都是透過黑色幽默傳達他們的核心概念「The Power of Nice」。
