經過嚴謹審議程序及行政院核定後，交通部會持續推動。此外，因為軌道建設屬重大建設計畫，工期長，若未能於特別預算期間編列，交通部亦會於後續年度公務預算編列，爰只是預算編列方式調整，軌道建設將持續推動。
至於報載所述台鐵接駁轉乘彰化計畫未編列前瞻計畫一節，交通部指出，台鐵接駁轉乘彰化計畫已於前瞻1.0（106-109年）編列0.15億元，亦於前瞻2.0之111年匡列0.05億元。目前該計畫可行性研究於108.9.27奉行政院核定，台鐵局刻正辦理綜合規劃作業中。
