行政院農委會防檢局16日公告，「為防範豬瘟（Classical swine fever）傳入，停止日本之活豬、豬肉及相關產品輸入我國，並自即日生效」，根據動物傳染病防治條例第二十八條第一項第二款規定，「指定區域停止檢疫物之輸入」，違者可開罰5萬元以上100萬元以下罰鍰。
